In Which I Return from the Dead

Well, I'm not sure if anyone out there is reading this. If no one is, I don't blame them in the slightest. To say I was inactive would be a bit of an underestimate, I think. Because I was gone for *ahem* quite a while. Okay so maybe possibly a year or so.....

So there's good news, and bad news. I'll start with the bad.

I'm very, very sorry you guys, but I did not come to resolve to blog more often and keep you promptly updated. I do apologize profusely for vanishing without explanation, but in case you haven't figured it out by now, I can't keep blogging anymore.

The reason I pulled out of it was primarily loss of incentive, and the murder—I mean *cough* "update" of the creative writing section. KI wasn't responding to my emails anymore, however many times I tried to get Part 10 of TToSS sent in. Nowadays all the Creative Writing section is is poorly written, essay-style paragraphs on people's favorite school and things. Real fiction has long since been extinct.

And then of course, I couldn't find time to post anymore, couldn't find anything to post about, hit a roadblock on my story, and things just all spiraled downhill. In a nutshell.

So, with that said, I'm officially discontinuing posting until possible further notice.

But the good news is that I said nothing about quitting my story.

In fact, quite the opposite. I recently revisited the plot line of ODAD, and was hit by a wave of reminiscence. I couldn't just give up on this plot line, I thought, not while it was so strongly developed. So, with spring break underway, I'm going to see what I can do about it. I'll look over my draft, see what can be revised, and hopefully get something accomplished. What I plan to do is hopefully, in time, get ODAD finished already, and then I have another idea in the back of my mind, sort of a sequel to TToSS. But first, I need to finish what I started. :)

I'll still leave this blog up, just so I have somewhere to post the next few parts. And who knows—maybe a Fanfiction.net account isn't out of the question. Only time will tell.

If you want to email me with questions, to scold me, to make friends, to nag me to get a move on already, or just to chat, contact me at s.spiritheart@gmail.com. I'll still be hanging out, and communicate with anyone who wants. Don't think I've gone completely. ;) I also occasionally pop online to play W101 the game, so if live chat and gameplay and conversing whilst battling monsters is more your thing, let me know!

So I guess that's all for now. See ya in the spiral! And a very happy Eaater!

About Six Months Worth of Cool Things

Be prepared to witness awesome glitches, spectacular shots, and about a half a year's worth of complete randomness.

These first few pictures I'm really proud of. They're part of possibly the best glitch I've ever encountered, one pertaining to a certain pet game. Well...see for yourself. XD

Sarah Spiritheart's behind-the-scenes tour:

One of the best days ever. :D I tried to get all my friends to port and make a party out of it. But they couldn't port, or even send me messages. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

The following are exerts from possible the coolest landscaping project ever undertaken.

Awesome, am I right? XD

Now this, is slightly on the smaller scale of glitches, but it's still really weird. Allow me to direct your attention to the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

My doppleganger. :P

Twin piggies, maybe a little too close for comfort. O.o

And then there was this one time my alt Scarlet was wandering around Haunted Cave and happened to come across some stray pets. Poor little guys...

Again, look down towards the health globe. Not necessarily a glitch, but still a momentous occasion. :D Make a wish!

And finally, you probably won't be able to see this very well, but this was a shot I grabbed of two forest Lords being cast at once. Pretty cool, eh?

Enjoy these brief moments of utter randomness!

Resolutions

Here we are, everyone. 2012. The beginning of a new year. Time to start thinking about the things you want to do with your life, things that probably won't last to February anyway. Yes, you know what I'm talking about. New years resolutions.

Hence the title.

Now, I haven't been doing a good job on my resolutions up to date, I admit it. So maybe if I write it down I'll have a better chance of completing them.

1. Work on ODAD! Does this even need explaining? I mean, I can't let you guys down. Oh, and you all are allowed to get nasty at me if you feel I'm not keeping up with this. You have my permission.

2. Finish Hunger Games Fanfiction. Another story I'm working on besides this. You all read the Hunger Games, right? Maybe?

3. Post at least...once every two weeks. Even if there is nothing to post about.

4. Read everything on THIS page. Although I've only read a few posts, I can tell its hilarious, if not very productive. Anyone who hates or even remotely dislikes Twilight out there? It's for you. You might like it even if you do like Twilight. I don't know. What I do know is that this guy is a comic genius.

5. And lastly, get off the computer once and a while and get some fresh air. I am well aware how hard it will be to keep up with the first four if this is the case. But aren't I supposed to be a Theurgist? Geez.

Happy 2012, a year like any other. What impeding disaster?

In Which, for Entirely Selfish Reasons, Savannah and I Do Fan Art

In other words: I come back with a bang. Hey guys!

So what are these selfish reasons, you may ask? One word: contest. But not just ANY contest. The first ever fan art/fiction/video/song contest by Sierra Winterbreeze! (If you haven't heard of it, I suggest you check out her blog and get started. The deadline is supposedly Feburary 1st, people!)

So basically, Savannah and I were more than happy to test our skills in this glorious event. And this was the easiest way to post our entries. So Sierra, here they are. The rest of you are welcome to take a look too.

First, here is Savannah's picture. And if I do say so myself, it is excellent.

*Sigh,* she's so artistic. Unfortunately, she wanted to edit it, but she was taking too long. So Sierra, I may have to send you her other version.

Anyway, these next few are mine. Yes, I did say FEW. Because, as you can probably recall from a certain incendent involving an English teacher, a page limit, and a short story prompt, I tend to overdo things.

So I did a drawing for each seeker, with their spiral guardian behind them. (By the way, Sierra, it's okay to treat them all as one entry. I don't want any edges...let's just say that I drew them too big to fit on one paper for your convenience.) Sorry; you may have to tilt you head, but that was only because I could figure out how to rotate them. Plus, the lighting and quality are bad, but let's kindly ignore that.

First, the valiant leader of the Seekers, Sierra.

Next we have Sydney. (This one just MIGHT be my favorite.)

Savanna hand I had a little trouble with Victoria, since neither of us knew what she looked like. Well, actually, that's true for all the Seekers except Sydney, Sierra, and Rowan. But I think it ended up turning out okay.

This is Mark. Standing on a grave with a smile on his face. (He struck me as the type of person who would do that. :3)

Hunter. >3<

Liam and Vanessa, the only ones out of the bunch who don't look remotely happy. Party poopers.

And THIS is Rowan, which happens to be another of my favorites.

I guess that's it, everyone. Sierra, I hope you enjoy our fan art, and good luck with the contest!

Happy Halloween!

It is Halloween (and also somewhere around my one year blogiversery.) Therefore I will post.

...

Happy Halloween! Dance, sing, be merry...oops! Wrong holiday! Eat candy! Yeah...eat candy.

Expect a longer post soon, especially since I've experienced a TON of glitches and bloopers since we last met.

In the meantime, let's go around in a circle and tell me what you dressed up as for Halloween. What was I, you ask? MIME your own business.

Thank you for not giving up on me. (Or did you? O.o)

TTOSS plus awesome new Manga App equals...stalling.

It all started with my friend, who I will call by her wizard name, Samantha Spiritstone. She showed me this awesome iPod app on which you can design your very own manga characters.

Me: "Omigosh this is sooooo aaawesomeee..."

Samantha: "Um...can I have my iPod back now..?"

Needless to say I loved it. I thought it was awesome, and that it might come in handy for designing characters of my story.

Including...my wizard101 fanfic! :D

So I got the app the day after and spent the first hour designing my characters. So I hope you enjoy the products of my hard work, first, of course, being yours truly. ;)

If you're wondering about the wings, I have the seraph wings mount and they looked cool. But isn't this just the coolest thing ever?

So cool, in fact, that Savannah just had to have a go...

Savannah: "Omigosh this is sooo aaawesomeee..."

Me: "-.- ..."

She made her character too though, and as she is in Marleybone right now, it worked out great!

She also made Sadie, and a bunch of other people that spammed up my gallery and made me glad that Sadie at least doesn't know about the app...yet...

Once Savannah had her fun, I went and made Sylvia from ODAD.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the app only lets you make girls, so we couldn't make Samuel or Cyrus or Mal. And YES I KNOW Sylvia has brown hair and glasses. But I wrote the story before I completed Dragonspyre, okay? And since I completely screwed up that one, I decided to just go with what I imagined in the first place.

And finally, since I didn't have many other options, I decided to go with Professor Serevina.

Before you point out that our fellow theurgists Sarah, Sylvia, and Lorraine are all wearing the same skirt, the app didn't offer much to work with in terms of green skirts, to be honest. I just had to work with what I had.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! It was a fun way for me to vent out the need to visually express my story, since I'm really not that talented of an artist. It was so fun, I'll even take requests if you want! Yeah, probably not likely, but still...

What? My story? What about it? No, I'm NOT using this post to cover up the fact that it's still not finished...

You are now in the presence of a Legendary Theurgist!

Yep! It's true! :D

I just hit level 60 a few days ago! And I tried out the Waterworks and everything!

Just thought I'd tell you. I wish I could show you pictures, but the only thing I actually got from the Waterworks were a pair of shoes. And I don't have any pictures. Sorry. :(

Needless to say I'm very happy. And I'll doubtless be running the Waterworks a few more times.

Still, I am a bit worried that I'll be a bit bored playing with a character that's already gone as far as she can go. So that's why I've decided to create an ENTIRELY NEW CHARACTER!

I know. Shocker. :P

Anyways, she's a Myth Wizard because even though it's my second school, I dont really know about any of the other spells they have and I'm curious as to what minions they can summon and such. Her name is Scarlet StoryWeaver (Appropriate? I'd say. :) ). And thanks to my exploits on Wizblox (Oh boy, Wizblox...much more on that later, I promise.), she's pretty much as decked out as a novice wizard can get.

Again, I wish I had pictures...but I dont.

And as for the story...

...um...

I hate to say it, guys, but I recently looked at it and didn't like where it was going at all. (Has that ever happened to you? Don't you hate it?) So, again, I hate to tell you, but...

Ithrewaboutfivewrittenpagesofmystoryinthetrashcan!!! D:

Now before you go and get mad at me, I was just about to get to the good part. I've pretty much more than made up for this, and I'm more than halfway done now. I should (emphasis on should) be done with the written part soon. Ish.

Maybe.

Now I'm going to ATTEMPT to work on my story, which will probably result in leaving five minutes into the attempt and going straight to the Wii to play Super Smash Bros Brawl (We rented it today to try it out and it is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.) and later join one of my dad's spontaneous karaoke parties.
